“Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Celebrates London Craft Week with Showcase of Luxury Craftsmanship”
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is known for its unparalleled craftsmanship and attention to detail, and this year’s London Craft Week exhibition at the flagship Mayfair dealership is no exception. From May 13 to 19, visitors will have the opportunity to marvel at unique pieces that showcase the luxury car brand’s bespoke capabilities.
The theme for this year’s event is London, a city renowned for its luxury and design. Rolls-Royce has taken inspiration from some of the most iconic locations in the city to create stunning works of art that highlight the brand’s commitment to perfection.
One of the standout pieces on display is a bespoke bonnet for the Rolls-Royce Phantom, featuring a hand-painted map of London with intricate details of Mayfair and other famous landmarks. This masterpiece, which required over 100 hours of work and 20 coats of paint, is a true testament to the skill and creativity of Rolls-Royce artisans.
Inside the showroom, visitors will also find a vibrant door card that mimics an aerial view of the River Thames, created using over 7,700 perforations and a combination of Turchese and Lime Green leather. This unique piece captures the essence of London’s architecture in a contemporary and abstract way.
To complete the London-inspired collection, Rolls-Royce specialists have crafted a stunning picnic table featuring intricate designs of the city’s most famous buildings. Each piece was meticulously cut, pressed, and assembled before being lacquered to perfection, showcasing the brand’s dedication to quality and craftsmanship.
As Boris Weletzky, regional director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, aptly puts it, “Craftsmanship lies at the very heart of Rolls-Royce with creativity nurtured at every turn.” The London Craft Week exhibition is a celebration of British craftsmanship at its finest, and a must-visit for anyone who appreciates luxury and artistry. Don’t miss the chance to witness these incredible creations up close and personal at the Rolls-Royce flagship in Mayfair.
