The Royal Mint Unveils New Star Wars Collection Featuring Millennium Falcon Coin

Are you a Star Wars fan looking to add some galactic flair to your coin collection? Well, you’re in luck because The Royal Mint has just unveiled a new special Star Wars collection that is sure to make your inner Jedi jump for joy!

To celebrate Star Wars Day on May 4th, The Royal Mint has launched a new series of coins and bullion bars that are out of this world. The highlight of the collection is a special coin featuring the iconic Millennium Falcon, the legendary spacecraft from the blockbuster sci-fi franchise. The coin boasts a lenticular feature depicting the Rebel Alliance ‘Starbird’ logo and features King Charles III on the obverse side.

But that’s not all – The Royal Mint’s new Iconic Vehicles collection includes reverse designs inspired by other legendary spacecraft from the Star Wars universe. The first coin in the series is the Millennium Falcon, available in standard or colored versions. The next coins in the collection will feature the Empire’s TIE Fighter, the Rebel Alliance’s X-Wing, and the Death Star II.

Collectors can purchase the Millennium Falcon coin starting at just £12, with the option to subscribe to the entire four-coin collection, which comes with an exclusive storage case. For those looking for rare and limited edition coins, prices range from £12 up to over £2,500. Limited editions include the 1/4oz Gold Proof Collection and the Millennium Falcon 5oz Silver Proof Coin.

Last year, The Royal Mint released the inaugural collection of UK coins featuring the franchise’s most iconic duos, such as R2-D2 and C-3PO, Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, and Han Solo and Chewbacca. These coins are currently available in standard or color versions for £48 or £284, respectively.

If you’re eager to add these collectible coins to your collection, you can find them on The Royal Mint’s website or on eBay. Whether you’re a die-hard Star Wars fan or a numismatic enthusiast, these coins are a must-have for anyone looking to bring a little bit of the Force into their lives. May the coins be with you!
