Exciting Details Revealed for the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed

The excitement is building as the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed approaches, with final details of attendees and events starting to surface. This year’s festival promises to be a celebration of both the past and the future of the automotive industry, with a focus on key motorsport anniversaries and technological advancements.

One of the highlights of the event will be MG’s centenary celebration, featuring the new Cyberster EV as the star of the signature Central Feature. Additionally, the festival will mark 130 years since the world’s first motor race, showcasing the evolution of the industry over the years.

The Future Lab at the festival will provide a glimpse into upcoming technology, with radical concept cars and prototypes expected to make appearances. Each year, the Festival of Speed hosts more new car debuts than the previous year, and 2024 is no exception. Numerous manufacturers will display models for the first time, with some even taking to the famous hillclimb for an exciting first look in action.

Ferrari fans will be in for a treat, as a total of 26 Ferraris are set to hit the hillclimb, including new models like the Ferrari Roma Spider, 812 Competition Open, and SF90 XX Spider. The festival will also feature the UK dynamic debuts of the Ferrari SP-8, 499P Modified, and 296 Challenge.

One of the most anticipated debuts at the festival will be Red Bull’s RB17 hypercar, designed by Adrian Newey. The track-focused, road-legal hypercar is set to feature a 15,000rpm naturally aspirated V10 and cutting-edge aero setup, aiming to rival F1-car lap times.

BMW will also have a strong presence at the festival, showcasing the M Hybrid V8 Le Mans Hypercar, iconic V12 LMR, all-new BMW M5, and X3 in world debuts. Other highlights include the Zagato AGTZ Twin Tail, Hispano Suiza Carmen Sagrera, and Aston Martin Valiant making dynamic debuts.

With a forest rally stage, off-road arena, Electric Avenue, Future Lab, and Cartier Style et Luxe Lawn concours d’elegance, there will be plenty of exciting action both on and off the hill. And for those looking ahead, the Goodwood Revival in September and the 81st Members’ Meeting in April 2025 are events not to be missed.

Tickets for the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed are still available, but availability is limited. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this incredible celebration of automotive history and innovation.
