Audi’s Product Offensive: New Models Set to Launch by 2025
Are you a fan of Audi cars? If so, you’re in for a treat! Audi has announced a massive product offensive that will see the launch of numerous models between now and the end of 2025. This is set to be the biggest product offensive in the history of the German carmaker, with models of different sizes and powertrains hitting the market.
One of the most eagerly awaited models is the new Audi Q5, the medium-sized SUV of the four rings, scheduled to be presented in the autumn of 2024. The company’s CEO, Gernot Dollner, confirmed this exciting news, along with details of other new Audis set to be released in the coming months.
“The new Audi A5 family represents the beginning of the next generation of combustion engines. At the end of July, the Audi A6 e-tron will follow, while in the autumn it will be the turn of the Audi Q5. This shows that Audi keeps its promises,” said Dollner during a press conference presenting the results for the second quarter of 2024.
But it doesn’t stop there. With more than 20 launches planned for 2024 and 2025, Audi is expanding and rejuvenating its product portfolio to include all-electric models, plug-in hybrids, and a new generation of highly efficient combustion engines.
So, what can we expect from the new Audi Q5? In terms of styling, technology, engines, and interior, we should see many similarities to the new Audi A5 that was recently unveiled. This includes the new powertrain MHEV Plus, a mild hybrid system capable of moving the car into electric mode under certain conditions.
The new Audi Q5 will also feature a range of powerful engines, including the 204 PS 2.0 TFSI, the 2.0 TDI, and the 367 PS 3.0 TFSI of the S5, all integrated with an electric motor and 48V, 1.8 kWh battery.
With extra centimeters added to both the exterior and interior dimensions, new driver assistance systems, and revamped infotainment, the new Audi Q5 promises to be a game-changer in the SUV market. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new model!
