Hyundai Tucson Interior Updates for 2024: A Closer Look at the Redesigned Cabin and Infotainment Features

The 2024 Hyundai Tucson has undergone some significant changes to its interior design, making it a much more practical and user-friendly space. The new dashboard is tidier and more functional, with a passenger-side storage compartment above the glovebox for added convenience.

One of the standout features of the new Tucson is the updated centre console, which now includes integrated wireless phone charging and USB-C connections. Hyundai has also reintroduced physical switches for ventilation controls and quick access buttons for key features like navigation, media, and vehicle settings.

The dual digital displays create a seamless, full-length screen experience, with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system. Beneath the touchscreen, there are clearly marked buttons for climate control, heated seats, steering wheel, and parking sensors, reducing the reliance on touchpads for control.

The front seats are comfortable and spacious, with faux-leather material and attractive stitching. Rear passengers also have ample head and legroom, with the option for a foldable centre armrest for added comfort. The versatile seating configuration allows for various recline positions, perfect for long journeys.

In terms of practicality, the Tucson offers a competitive 616-litre boot space with a wide opening for easy loading. The durable plastic sides and additional hooks and catches make it a practical choice for everyday use.

Overall, the 2024 Hyundai Tucson’s interior improvements make it a much more pleasant and convenient place to be. The infotainment system is easy to navigate, with clear graphics and the option for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. With standard features like wireless charging, USB-C sockets, and satellite navigation, the Tucson is well-equipped for modern drivers.

Hyundai has successfully combined style and functionality in the new Tucson, creating a comfortable and user-friendly interior that enhances the overall driving experience.
