Salon Privé Concours 2024: A Preview of the Most Exclusive Automotive Garden Party
Get ready for a weekend of luxury, elegance, and automotive excellence at the 19th edition of the Salon Privé concours, taking place at the stunning Blenheim Palace from August 28-31, 2024. This exclusive event is known as the “UK’s most exclusive automotive garden party”, and it promises to be a feast for the eyes for car enthusiasts and collectors alike.
This year, 75 collector cars will compete across 13 classes to win the prestigious Best of Show crown. Last year’s winner was a 1937 Bugatti Type 57 by Corsica, owned by JCB founder Lord Bamford. The competition will be fierce, with a lineup of very special cars confirmed to be in attendance, including rare classic Ferraris that are rarely seen on UK soil.
But it’s not just about the competition – Salon Privé offers much more than that. Special displays dedicated to the anniversaries of iconic cars like the Bugatti Type 35, Rolls-Royce, Porsche 930 Turbo, and Porsche 911 GT3 will be featured. British manufacturer Naran will debut its new hyper coupé, and Zenvo will showcase its Tur and Agil hypercars.
One of the highlights of this year’s event is the presence of a 1957 Ferrari 335 S and a one-of-a-kind 1950 Ferrari 166MM/212 Export Uovo, both rare and exceptional examples of automotive history. And for a touch of modern innovation, a DeLorean DMC-12 has been converted to electric power, giving it a futuristic drivetrain worthy of its iconic status.
Motor sport fans will also be thrilled by the Legendary Liveries class, featuring iconic cars from Group C endurance racing and the World Rally Championship.
