The Last Jaguar F-Type Models Find a Home in the Jaguar Heritage Collection
The end of an era has arrived for the Jaguar F-Type, as the last two models have rolled off the production line and are now part of the Jaguar Heritage Collection. This marks the end of a 12-year run for the iconic sports car, which made its world premiere at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
The final two F-Types, a coupé and a convertible, will now be part of a series of special events and activities throughout the year. The convertible, in “Giola Green” with a black roof, is powered by a 5.0-litre V8 engine producing 575 PS. It features a luxurious brown Windsor leather interior, reminiscent of the last Series III E-Type from 1974.
The end of production of the F-Type also marks the beginning of a new era for Jaguar, as the brand looks towards an all-electric future. A four-door electric GT is set to lead the way, with a planned presentation in 2025.
Rawdon Glover, Managing Director at Jaguar, expressed the brand’s commitment to innovation and evolution, stating, “We will reinvent and evolve the Jaguar brand, focusing on greater customer intimacy and engagement – driven by our ambition to inspire like no other.”
Although production of the F-Type has come to an end, the stylish sports car will still be available until early 2025. However, if you want to get your hands on one of the last models, you’ll have to act fast as they are now part of the Jaguar Heritage Collection alongside other discontinued models like the CAR, XF, and XF Sportbrake.
The Jaguar F-Type may be saying goodbye, but its legacy will live on in the hearts of enthusiasts and collectors alike. It’s the end of an era, but the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Jaguar.
