“Stranger Things Star Joe Keery’s New Film Marmalade Confirmed for UK Release Date”

Are you a fan of Joe Keery from Stranger Things? If so, you’ll be excited to hear that his new film, Marmalade, has confirmed a UK release date! The crime romance movie, also starring Camila Morrone and Aldis Hodge, is set to arrive on digital platforms in the UK and Ireland on February 12, 2024.

In Marmalade, Keery and Morrone play Baron and Marmalade, two lovers attempting to carry out a bank heist. The synopsis reads: “Recently incarcerated Baron strikes up a friendship with cellmate Otis, a man with a well-versed history of prison breaks. As the pair hatch an escape plan together, Baron recalls the story of how he met Marmalade, the love of his life, and their Bonnie and Clyde-style scheme to rob a bank in order to care for his sick mother and give the couple the life they always dreamed of.”

This project is a departure from Keery’s role as Steve Harrington in Stranger Things, which is set to end after an upcoming fifth season. Keery has expressed mixed feelings about saying goodbye to the hit sci-fi series, stating, “It does feel like it’s time. It won’t be easy for it to end. I mean, I owe my whole career to being on that show and all the opportunities that I had since are because of that show.”

While fans may have to wait until at least the end of 2024 for the final season of Stranger Things, they can catch Keery in the meantime in season five of Fargo, currently airing on FX.
