Warning Issued to Tourists Planning Trip to Popular Lancashire Beach
Are you planning a trip to Ainsdale beach in Lancashire? If so, you may want to take note of a recent warning issued by Sefton Council regarding parking at the popular beach.
With a warm and sunny spell predicted across the country, tourists are expected to flock to local beaches and beauty spots, including Ainsdale beach. However, a technical glitch has caused issues with card payments at the Ainsdale Beach car park. To avoid any inconvenience, visitors are advised to bring cash for parking.
The council has provided the following prices for parking at Ainsdale beach: £10 per day for cars (reduced to £5 after 4pm), £16 per day for horseboxes or minibuses, £37.50 for a season ticket for Sefton residents and electric/hybrid vehicle owners, and £75 for non-Sefton residents.
Despite the parking issue, the weather forecast for the area looks promising, with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures expected. The Met Office predicts a very warm day on Monday, with temperatures reaching 24C. The outlook for Tuesday to Thursday is also positive, with bright skies and periods of strong sunshine.
Looking further ahead, the Met Office’s long-range forecast suggests a northwest-southeast split in weather patterns, with northwestern areas experiencing breezy conditions and some rain, while the south and east remain dry and bright. Towards mid-August, a more settled period is expected, with temperatures likely to be close to or slightly above average.
So, if you’re planning a trip to Ainsdale beach in the coming days, be sure to bring cash for parking and enjoy the warm weather and beautiful surroundings. Just be prepared for a potential parking glitch and make the most of your visit to this popular Lancashire beach.
