Co-owner of Whitson Prestige Car Vehicle Sales & Brokerage Shocked by Mass Destruction and Theft
The morning of August 18 was a devastating one for Rory Collingbourne, co-owner of the prestigious family business Whitson Prestige Car Vehicle Sales & Brokerage. As he made his way into work, he was met with mass destruction at the showroom located off Whitson Road in Goldcliff, Newport.
Two hooded men smashed the windows, broke into the key box, and drove off in two stolen cars – a BMW X3m and a Mercedes C43, worth a total of £85,000 combined. The Mercedes had only just been listed for sale at £32,000.
In a video shared on Facebook, Rory expressed his shock and sadness over the incident. The family, who have worked hard to build a strong reputation for selling luxury cars, are devastated by the loss. They are working with Gwent Police to find the stolen cars and the suspects, who arrived in a Ford Focus.
As a family-run business, Whitson Prestige takes immense pride in delivering the highest standard of customer service. They are determined to recover from this setback and continue serving their valued customers with excellence.
Founded by father and son duo Rory and Jon Collingbourne, Whitson Prestige specialises in luxury car sales. They are urging anyone with information on the culprits or the stolen cars to come forward, promising a reward for relevant details. They also ask anyone who spots the stolen cars to report their whereabouts to Gwent Police immediately.
The family is hopeful that justice will be served and that they can move past this unfortunate incident. Stay tuned for updates on the recovery efforts and the pursuit of the suspects.
